  Terrifically engaging tour & guide! - We attended the Agatha Christie Walking Tour during 2023’s Christie Literary Festival. The weekend was filled with fulfilling and enlightening activities, but we honestly enjoyed our walking tour the most... read more out of all of them. Graham is a terrific guide; he was always considerate and made sure that everyone was comfortable and took things at their own pace, and always offering help and fun photo opportunities along the way. And on top of that, he was both incredibly well informed, and excellent at relaying his knowledge in an engaging and enthusiastic way. We learned so much about Christie’s life, and he was wonderful company along the way, happy to answer questions and very easy to have a conversation with. The walk takes you along a great area of Torquay’s coastline, so you get to see some interesting locations and lovely views as well as learn a great deal. The experience was exactly what we were hoping for and a whole lot more- we thoroughly recommend it.

  Agatha Christie walking tour "Par Excellence" - We were a party of 9 friends holidaying near Kingswear in September 2023. One of our group spotted an advertisement for this walking tour on FB back in April 2023... read more and we all thought this would be good. I made contact with Graham a week before our trip and he advised a couple of dates where he would be able to accommodate the 9 of us (maximum for each tour is 12). It was well worth booking in advance to secure our outing on a convenient day and avoid disappointment. Communication with Graham was easy and prompt via email initially and nearer the time by text. We were met by Graham as arranged and paid him on the day for our tour tickets. The day was very hot and sunny and Graham was keen to make sure we stopped in shady spots when he was talking to us. Opportunities for drinks, ice cream and toilets were pointed out as we went along. Graham was extremely knowledgable about both Agatha Christie and Torquay and we were enthralled by his every word. The 2.5 hours sped by! We would highly recommend this tour.

  My daughter and I had a terrific time on the Agatha Christie tour in April 2023. Graham, our guide, wove the stories and the locations together in such an interesting... read more way. He even worked some fun quizzes in (I do love a quiz!) What we didn’t know the other couple did! The other couple were lovely and we had a great time chatting which made our tour even nicer. Graham did stump us a couple times though so he kept us learning. I learned a lot about Agatha’s life and Torquay in a really relaxing, engaging way as we walked through the town and even stopped at the beach. Apparently Agatha was quite sporty! She and her friends would come down and roller skate on that pier in the photo included. As you can see the weather was glorious! The time flew by. We had visited Greenway (Agatha’s holiday home) the day before and made a stop at the Torquay Museum to see the small Agatha Christie gallery afterward. We stayed at the Grand Hotel (next to the rail station) and were able to take the bus from the hotel to meet the tour (we scanned our credit card to use the bus so no worry about tickets). Thank you Graham for helping to make our Agatha Christie weekend a big success!

I learnt a lot about Agatha's life and childhood around Torquay and defining episodes in her life that made her such an ingenious crime writer of her age .Unusual for a woman of her time.
Graham brings the Queen of Crime to life whilst showing us the wonderful bay of Torquay , The Abbey Gardens and the Marina . I certainly want to return to Torquay soon , hopefully during The Agatha Christie Festival to enjoy this superb Victorian Sea-side resort better and bring along a good Agatha Christie book to read.
